Office Operations Intern

AppFirst is currently looking for an ambitious and motivated applicant to work closely with the Operations Coordinator, assisting in daily operations.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ensuring the day-to-day success of operations in the NYC office
  • Assisting in office and event coordination
  • Maintaining office inventory and ordering office supplies
  • Greet guests, process mail, and keep kitchen clean, functional and stocked with beverages and snacks
  • Providing administrative assistance to the company’s CEO and other top officers when needed
  • Helping to maximize organizational health and employee management
  • Recording daily financial transactions
  • Assisting in monthly financial closings
  • Assisting with state, federal and tax compliance
  • Helping to handle key vendor relations for the company
  • Competitive analyses

What you need:

  • Must be ready to work in a setting of constant change—tasks will change on an almost daily basis
  • A highly efficient multi-tasker, who works well despite distractions
  • A positive, can do attitude with strong verbal/oral communication skills
  • A willingness to excel in a teamwork-friendly environment
  • Background in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Salesforce a plus
  • Must have strong analytical skills
