The AppFirst Business Risk Management solution finally gives you the single view of business
and systems metrics that you need to attain true business-IT alignment. Using AppFirst's single,
unified repository, we enable you to view critical systems data through the lens of business performance
– in real time. That means you can finally connect the dots between plummeting online transactions
and a misbehaving server, or between a sudden halt in your morning email blast and a floundering database.
Regardless of which business metrics are core to your daily operations, we can help you get the visibility
you need to be successful.
This 20-minute webinar will go over how the world of IT has changed and how to unify Business and IT.
Use Cases
In this use case, we use AppFirst to identify a problem on our own production system caused by too many collectors uploading all at once. This completely normal increase in load went beyond our threshold for processing it and ended up causing the data queues (where we store the data before processing it) to back up. In this demonstration, we show:
- Being notified of the problem with multiple alerts triggering.
- Easily viewing graphs that demonstrate the problem.
- Quickly correlate our "Miss Nothing Data" with Nagios data from our RabbitMQ server to see a complete picture of what happened.
- Getting to the root cause of the problem: increased load on our Backend from a peak in the number of active collectors.
