We are very excited about the impending delivery of the DevOps Dashboard to you!  Soon you’ll have one place to go to get an at-a-glance view of the health of your application.  We will automatically detect your app stack subsystems, for example, if you are running on a Ruby stack, we’ll know if you are using MySQL or PostgreSQL, Redis, Passenger, etc….  And we’ll automatically set up to collect subsystem specific metrics, such as # of transactions, connections, slow queries and row operations in the case of MySQL.

Of course, all you have come to know and LOVE about AppFirst will continue to be available to you, the deep diagnostic data will be there along with log files, plug-in data and more!  What more?  StatsD!  Along with your application metrics you can also view your business metrics using StatsD as the export mechanism.
