Pricing FAQs
How can I change my account type?
Simply go to your Account tab to select
your new account type. You can change to different AppFirst Professional account types at any time.
How will changing my account type affect my monthly bill?
You will be billed based on the amount of time you spend using each account type
and the average number of collectors you're using. If you change your account type in
the middle of the month, we will pro-rate the charge for each account type. So don't
worry about incurring extra charges on your bill if you want to change your account type.
How will adding or stopping/deleting collectors affect my monthly bill?
Usage pricing calculates the total number of collector hours used in the month, no matter
how many times collectors have been started and stopped. If you choose to use bundle pricing,
then you will not be allowed to add more collectors than your bundle allows. When you
get close to the limit we will warn you by email and via a message in the AppFirst UI.
Does AppFirst offer any deals for large companies?
Why yes, we do! If you have more than 75 servers, you should contact us for more information.
What is the difference between the two types of AppFirst Professional accounts?
You can choose between usage or bundle pricing. If you select usage pricing, at the
end of the month we simply add up the total number of collector hours you have used
across all your collectors for the month and multiply that by 2.5¢. With bundle pricing
you pay a flat monthly fee at the beginning of each month for up to the server count you select.
How do I track my spending for the month?
You can go to your Account tab to see
what your bill will be. If you're on the Usage pricing, we will project your monthly costs
based on current usage. If you are on the bundle plan, you will be charged the same flat
rate each month. From your Account tab, you
can also view past invoices and historical usage.
How do I know that my credit card information is safe with AppFirst?
AppFirst doesn't have access to your credit card at anytime. We use Recurly, a PCI-DSS
compliant company, for billing. They in turn store the data with Authorize.net (a leading
provider of electronic payment and risk management solutions). No one at AppFirst ever
has access to your credit card details.
